hi everyone... it had been a while since i wrote my last blog.. how are you all? still fine? when are we going out again? haha... suddenly very bored.. so decided to drop by to write some things.... for the pass few weeks, i am very tired.. hmm.. because i have my field camp and i got to prepare too.. for the field camp which had just pass, er... its a complete nitemare for me....
Monday was the last time we had fresh food. After breakfast carried our damn heavy field pack, sbo, helmet and rifle to fall in. Everyone were sad but also excited. 8++ marched to take the tonner. Reached our camp site and were told to go setup our "sleeping areas". Afer that we went for lessons and had our first combat ration lunch. the food sucks. its like eating pedrigre.. haha.. it sound rediculous but its true.. haha .. After our training the sun set, it was time for dinner and powder bath time. Powder bath - def: A type of bath wherer you strip to only your undies and powder your whole body, including face hair and groin areas till white like a ghost. Powder bath was fun and cool and it make me feel fresh. After our powder bath and the "E spring squeeze trigger"(toilet break) its time to sleep. Sleeping is difficult. First had to lay our ground sheet as "bedsheet". Then i use my poncho as pillow, and had bring my rifle and leopard crawl into my "bed". Over the field camp I did not slept much cause i keep waking up to check if my rifle is stolen. Second day, woke up at 6am had to tie up all our barangs barangs and bring our rifle and water bottle to do 5BX(basic exercise). IMAGINE 5BX in the forest All the half left down(push ups) on the slope, hands pressed on stones or roots of trees and some more in long 4(our uniform). After 5BX was breakfast. Normally during my field camps, my breakfast and lunch I just drink water. After breakfast had to put on camo and get ready for lessons. This night we HAD NIGHT TRAINING ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. Imagine walking in the night unable to see your front, your teammates and fear of getting yourself injured or lost. Or frightened by stupid wild boars, made by our sergants. That night was very tiring after training had to powder bathe in total darkness and wearing slippers. WE ARE NOT TO ON TORCHLIGHTS. On thursday, its my worst day for life. I am appointed as LPS(leader platoon sergeant). early in the morning, one of the sergeant gather all the LPS and scold us cause the area around the camp site is dirty but then, i had just take over the post and my previous LPS had not inform anything abt it. in the noon near lunch time, i was gather by the sergeant again. this time is because the people in the complany did not cover up their shit after their business and this time because of them, we are ordered to cover up the shit for them.. straight after covering up the shit i didnt have any appetite already. we got a test after the lunch for the training of the first 3 days. this test is something like a competition and whoever section in a platoon have done the best will go back to camp site early the next day. In the end we did not win section 2 got to go back company first and BATHE , SHIT AND SLEEP. later at night, one of the PCs organised a campfire for the company. Our OC and Sergant major were also present. Different platoons had their own skit. Most of the skit were same, impersonating our sergants and PCs how they punished us from enlisted to now. However one platoon were rather creative, they sang a song about route march and field camp. The funny thing was, the fire was buring out soon after the first performance. Everyone enjoyed the campfire and it was a memorable field camp.On thursday took many photos took some photos during our powder bathe (Censored) LOL.Friday BOOK OUT DAY! Had to go for final test again because we are not the best section, this time loaded my rounds I was carrying 200 rounds in my sbo(a bag over our body). after completing the course, i feel so relieve and relax. At around 12++ we packed our FBO and board the tonner BACK! Reached company, fall in, wash boots go back bunk and change to our Admin attire and without shoes too. Cleaned our rifle and after that do area cleaning, got a standby by our Sergant Major. he commented our platoon and praised our platoon and gave us canteen break. Canteen break is a taboo to obese recruits. We got to eat junk food and soft drinks LOL. Highly recommended foodCanteen above e-mart the roti john is damn nice. the roti john, roti prata and watsoever.. but i didnt go lar... all this things are commented by my platoon mates. At around 2100 we fall in for book out. Sad things some people are to serve confinement as they got their rifles stolen or caught littering during field camp. They can book out on Saturday 8am.We really annoyed Alpha, bravo and Charlie company(including derek and kinkeat) by marching past them and shouting "BOOK OUT DAY". today is their parents visit, 1 more weeek to first book out.all the best for them and Sian Monday is my first IPPT test.hope i will do well for it...when i am free, i will be back to talk more abt what i have done.. in the mean while.. take care guys and all the best.. see ya soon!!
